Sibenik

Things to See in Šibenik

1. St. James Cathedral: A UNESCO World Heritage site, this 15th-century cathedral is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, known for its sculpted human heads.

2. Baron Fortress or St. Michael’s Fortress: A medieval fortress offering panoramic views of Šibenik and the Adriatic Sea. In Game of Thrones, the Cathedral of St. James in Sibenik was used as a filming location to represent the Iron Bank of Braavos. Although its overall appearance differs, certain elements such as the door were replicated exactly. It can be seen in Season 5, Episode 9.
